Project Progress

November/December 2011 Development of a database to provide information on family support services for Cavan/Monaghan and Donegal.
October 2011 South Armagh  & Cavan cross-border youth drama productions will take place on the 20th in Gonzo Theatre, Cavan from 6.30-7.30pm. The South Armagh and Cavan Youth Drama Groups have developed 3 drama pieces dealing with issues affecting teenagers in their areas today. 
July-September 2011 Delivery of a range of programmes to improve outcomes for children and young people across the four local planning areas: South Armagh, Cavan, Fermanagh and SW Donegal, based on agreed priorities.
June 2011 Launch of the Information Management publication along with a re-launch of the interactive mapping tool of service provision and indicator data along the CAWT region to take place on th 29th in Armagh. 
March 2011 LPG's Networking Event to take place on the 31st in Enniskillen. 2 workshops were also put together on the themes of;
- Parental involvement
- Connecting young people into the community.
February 2011     South Armagh LPG met on 10th to discuss further work on a survey for the local area as well as putting together a video documenting the thoughts and feelings of young people within the area.
December 2010 Outcomes for Children website updated www.outcomesforchildren.org
November 2010     Workshop in Cavan facilitated by Participation Network to develop an action plan to support the participation of children and young people in the children’s services planning process.
October 2010 Members from the South Armagh LPG attend meeting in Cookstown to meet with representatives from 7 locality planning groups established in the Northern area.

Second Community Development Worker for Fermanagh and Donegal South West took up post.
September 2010 The second edition of the Project newsletter was released.
July/August 2010 All local planning groups established in four pilot sites.
June 2010 Workshop held in Enniskillen for the Fermanagh LPG.
May 2010 Workshop held in Cavan for the Cavan LPG.
April 2010 Workshop held in Monaghan to progress the work of the Outcomes for Children Project.
First issue of the Outcomes for Children newsletter launched.
South-West Donegal pilot launch of Outcomes for Children project to local statutory/voluntary and not-for-profit organisations.
March 2010 South Armagh Locality Planning Group 'LPG' met at Lir House in Newtownhamilton.
Recruitment of Community Development Worker and Project Admin Support started.
January 2010 Information Support Officer appointed.
December 2009 Workshop held to discuss and agree the establishment of a South Armagh collaborative.
October 2009 Recruitment of Information Support Officer started.
June 2009   Mary Haughey, SHSCT, appointed as Project Manager.
March 2009     Recruitment of Project Manager started. Workshop held to develop a detailed action plan.
