CAWT is committed to providing a website that is minimally accessible to our visitors with disabillities.
Documents
Documents published on the CAWT website are in Portable Document Format (PDF) and therefore require Adobe Reader. This reader can be downloaded free from
http://get.adobe.com/uk/reader/.
Graphics
CAWT provides text equivalents for non-text elements. The ALT attribute is used on all images and images are only used where necessary.
Text
The default text size for the CAWT website is 10pt. However, a text size option has been available to adjust the size of the text if required. This option is located in the top right hand corner of the website on each webpage. The default font style used is Verdana.
Language
The CAWT website uses plain, understandable English. The information on the website should be understandable by everyone and therefore the use of jargon and technical terms are avoided, unless necessary for the target visitor. When they cannot be avoided they are defined if the meaning is not clear from the context.
